What a Day!

I'm guessing Alaskans have been praying for a sunny Summer Solstice day. Whatever the reason, it worked!

The sun is shining, the mountains are gorgeous, and it's 65 degrees ... it doesn't get any better than this, I'm guessing.

Here are some of the latest webcam images, including one of the Sleeping Lady (also known as Mt. Susitna) courtesy of a local broadband service.

Not too shabby down here in Dawson Creek, BC either. The 60% chance of rain they forecast turned into a mostly sunny day with 30 minutes of very light drops...maybe.

Meanwhile, here in NC the thermometer is supposed to reach 97 degrees today.
