Alaska Judge Blocks Hand-outs at Polling Places

From the Anchorage Daily News website: "An Alaska judge has granted a temporary restraining order stopping elections officials from handing out names of write-in candidates at polling places."

This is a major blow against current Senator Lisa Murkowski, who continues her campaign against both the Tea Party's Joe Miller (R) and Sitka mayor Scott McAdams (D). It remains to be seen how much it will benefit Miller, but it's worth noting that write-in candidates have traditionally done poorly here.
