It's Sunday Again

and nothing ... I haz it. Other than another couple inches of snow overnight, there's not much going on here.

The days are growing shorter, as we're only 23 days from the winter solstice. Fortunately it's clear this morning, so the sky had some light in it at 8:30 - despite sunrise not being until 9:38. When it's cloudy, we don't see usable light until 10.

The down side to clear skies is that the temps are dropping like a rock. We'll get down to 10 degrees tonight, and tomorrow's high is forecast to be 13. Good news? Sunlight (yay!).

Bad news? A fleece vest won't cut it, pilgrim ... time to actually break out a coat.

Oh well, we have a couple of Christmas parties to look forward to in December. That's a good thing (believe it or not) in the land of snow & cold. Many days, life consists of home-to-office-to-home and little else. It's not uncommon for people to drive home, pull into the garage, and the last sign of life you note from them is the garage door closing & lights turning on, inside the house.

Since sunset here is mid-afternoon, these days, here's something my grandpa would have called "a purty". Enjoy!
