Thursday Thought

I spent some time casually eavesdropping on water-cooler conversations around the building today. To say that people are worked up over the latest round of TSA enhanced techniques on the public is to damn with faint description. Pardon my language, y'all, but sometimes only one specific word will do: the folks are PISSED, and royally so.

The federal bureaucracy is just beginning to find out what Americans will do when they decide they've been pushed too far.  And they thought the Tea Party was a big deal?

To insist that the entire earth's population is constituted of potential terrorists is, frankly, idiocy on a scale only achievable by the government-bureaucratic mind.  To grope toddlers, women, teenagers ... to equate Grandma from Duluth with the 9/11 terrorists ... to conduct a visual strip-search of men, women and children ... to treat every single person they encounter as guilty until proven innocent ... these things are not just beyond reasonable, it's beyond reason.

It is beyond reprehensible.

It is criminal.

It is unconstitutional.

It must stop.

That's my opinion, folks. I've said my piece; have at it.
