While the paid hacks continue to intone that 2010 is the hottest year EVAH!!!ONE1!!, we had a new record number of days of consecutive rain (32), the 3rd coolest July on record (average high of 57), and then there's today.
I know that arctic temps reached so far south that the places in Missouri where I have friends & family had morning lows within a degree or two of ours. Dang, that's cold for those folks!
But here in the Frozen North, we started at 4 degrees ... dropped to -1 at sunrise, eventually worked our way up to 9 degrees for about 40 minutes ... and then temp promptly dropped back to 3 degrees, where it currently stands.
Global warming, my aunt Fanny.
