Polar Plunge

From the Anchorage Daily News:

Despite air temperatures in the single digits, more than 700 people took the Polar Plunge into Goose Lake Saturday to raise money for Special Olympics Alaska. The cold swimmers were able to amass more than $275,000.

Good thing they held it now. A couple more days and they would have had to use a l-o-n-g chain saw to cut through the ice!
