Ho-Hum Thursday

Not much happening in local news this morning. Weather is about to become a factor again, though.

Due to a high of 36 yesterday, surfaces got a little wet yesterday, and have since glazed over. The ground is well frozen, so there's not much melting of ground cover. Roofs were dripping last night, though.  This morning, it's 28 degrees with mist & an occasional snowflake.

Accu-Oops predicts we'll have overnight lows of -15 to -20 by the weekend, with highs in "low single digits". At least any ice that forms today won't be slick at those temps.

To-do list:

My office has two large workstations in it, but I'm the sole occupant. I've grown tired of the clutter, and want to eliminate one or the other. Due to the U-shaped station I want to keep, it's going to be a full day of moving PCs back and forth, trailing large bundles of ethernet cables, etc. I'll probably need another file cabinet before I'm done. Or perhaps I can work a miracle regarding file storage, and get the proverbial two gallons of water in a one-gallon bucket.

Unused workstation ... nothing to see here. Move along.

It's currently turned sideways in relation to the door - meaning I can't see the door while seated there, nor can anyone see if I'm in. Here's what greets visitors to my office:

Anybody there?
So in addition to eliminating my current desk, and moving all the stuff out of the other to make room for my things, I also need to rotate the workstation.

Good times.
