Break-Up
... when the ice turns to slush turns to puddles. This is one of the smaller ones I saw on the way home today. Notice in the rearview mirror, you can see the current price of gas ($4.07) and the signs for the highway.

LOL looks like what we get around here when the melt finally commences. But we aren't over $4 for gas yet... I'm sure it's coming.
