I struggle with what to say. Being that I'm an officer now I have to respect my commander in chief. I feel that things are quickly spiraling out of control and I don't know what to do other than prepare my little family for the worst. A war of Independence being fought again frightens me to no end. It frightens me because I don't know which side I would stand on.
Funny how when people actually say what they think, people become fearful. I am. Of the direction of the country, and possible reactions against that direction.
I wish I could disbelieve this. My only argument with DR is his phrase "intellectual light-weight". I'm afraid Obama's not a light-weight; he knows what he's doing, he's given it much thought, he's taking deliberate action (along with the Nancy and Harry show).
Not all that long ago, I felt Baby Bush was our worst president (Cheney, Patriot Act, TARP, TSA, etc). A draft-dodging, party-down, stereotypical frat boy - now there was an intellectual lightweight.
But Obama's showing me how wrong I can be.
What scares me now is this feeling the next one - 2012? 2016? - may continue the downward spiral.
It seems many WANT a new revolution in this country. "America" would never return from such a fiasco
