Daughter-speak

So we're driving across town to the SuperMultiMegaUltraPlex IMAX theater, and pass a person on a Vespa scooter - admittedly, a somewhat rare sight in Anchorage.

Daughter #1:  It's kinda cute, though.

Daughter #2: It's awfully small. Is that what you buy if you can't afford a whole car?

(laughter)

Daughter #1: So does that mean a Prius is what you buy if you can't afford a whole engine?

Me:  No, a Prius costs more than a lot of gas-powered cars.

Daughter #1: Then what's the point?

(more laughter)

Can't argue with logic.

A scooter? I'm laughing just thinking of that... for some reason it just doesn't fit with the Alaska thing. LOL.

I do love the logic. Your daughter is a very smart girl.
