The Alaska Legislature failed to reach agreement on ... well, on pretty much anything at all during the 90-day session, including a capital budget. They've been in double-sooper-secret probationary special session since then, where - SURPRISE! - they've failed to reach agreement on anything.
I won't indulge in speculation about what they are doing ... they could be playing tiddly-winks, hanging out at the Red Dog Saloon, or debating secession. We may never know.
Meanwhile, the Governor seems to be plowing ahead with the agenda of resisting Big Brother.
Back here at the ol' homestead, it's 33 degrees and there's fresh snow on the mountain peaks, out the window. Sigh....
