A cow moose with a twin calves attacked a 64-year-old Palmer woman Monday as the woman was in her back yard.

The incident was the second this month in which a person was injured by a cow moose with calves in southcentral Alaska. A cow moose on May 18 attacked a girl on a bicycle in Anchorage.
