The remains of four men hanged in Dawson, Yukon, during the Klondike Gold Rush -- discovered in a secret burial ground during excavation last year for a new sewage treatment plant -- were reburied over the weekend, reports CBC News. Two of the four were Native brothers who were defendants in the Yukon's first-ever murder trial.
Forensic specialists have identified two of the remains as those of Dawson and Jim Nantuck, two First Nation brothers who were hanged in August 1899 for killing a prospector.
