My mom leaves tomorrow at ZOMG-how-early-is-it?, and we are sitting around today just chatting & enjoying the company.
It's just a few days shy of three months since my dad passed away, and she has enjoyed this get-away. We knew it would be a good thing for her to get out of the house, and away from the paperwork that has defined the edges of her existence since finding herself single again after 61 years.
So no trips, no excursions, no driving tours. Just a quiet day with family, good food, and good coffee.
John 12:24 "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit."
