Anchorage Blogmeet ... Well, Sort Of

I met Jenny S. over coffee at our usual hangout today. It was a nice chat, although she had another appointment & had to leave earlier than usual. She also has some exciting things in her future, it seems.
What things? ... but that would be telling. She'll let y'all know, when she's ready.

The sun has been shining all day, and the temp climbed into the low 60s for a time. This time of year, that's an iffy proposition. Any clouds at all during the day will keep us in the upper 50s, even if it's mostly sunny. This morning's low of 38 is the second time in a week or so that we've dipped into the thirties ... like I said, it's that time of year.

We tentatively agreed on another trip to the rifle range for next weekend. I think I've worked all the kinks out of my new shooting stance, and want to make sure I can put those rounds in the same place, consistently. And frankly, I'm still uncomfortable with using a scope, so there's a need to practice reasonably often until it becomes a part of my routine.
