It's 38 degrees, sunny & clear this morning, which is a good thing; we've had entirely too many cloudy, rainy days. Yes, I know August is our wettest month, and it almost always rains ... but our summers aren't all that long to begin with, and each cloudy day serves to make the walls close in, a bit.
What will we do today? The dirty laundry has reared its ugly head, and is taunting us; apart from that, we haven't made any plans.
It's nice now, and the whole day lies before us like the pages of a new book, or a promise from a new friend; there's potential and anticipation of something pleasurable ahead, but no guarantees.
So enjoy your day, and we'll enjoy ours. And don't forget to say a prayer for those in the path of Irene.
