A pilot who managed to skillfully steer a stalled small plane into some alder bushes and land without any injuries would have needed "nerves of steel" for the risky maneuver, a federal investigator said.
The Cessna 206 floatplane had just taken off Thursday afternoon from a lake about 50 miles northwest of Anchorage when it lost power, said Larry Lewis, a National Transportation Safety Board air safety investigator in Anchorage.

It ended up in a swampy area of alder bushes about 200 feet from Judd Lake. The pilot and two passengers were able to walk to the water, where they were picked up by another floatplane, the plane's owner said.

Rev. Paul
I believe in the Constitution, strength in national defense, limited government, individual freedom, and personal responsibility as the concrete foundation for American government. They reinforce the resolve that the United States is the greatest country in the world and we can all be eternally grateful to our founding fathers for the beautiful legacy they left us today. Above all, we must remember that all of man’s freedoms come ultimately from God.
