Try As I Might,

I can't find much difference between most of the talking heads that lined up for last night's GOP debate.

Ron Paul is different because of his mostly-Constitutionalist, libertarian stance.

Newt Gingrich is running because he used to be somebody ... and/or because he used to know Ronald Reagan. Yawn.

Michelle Bachmann is getting there, but may need more seasoning.

Perry/Romney - two sides of the same coin. Newly-minted (ahem cough cough) conservatives, "my dad is bigger than your dad", pointing fingers as each claims more job creation than the other.

Perry's biggest failure of the night: when Romney said that Perry's predecessors in office (including George W. Bush) created even more jobs than Perry did, Perry missed a golden opportunity to point out that Bush et al didn't have to deal with the current economy.

There were some other folks up there, too, but ... whatever.

I'm looking at Bachman as VP running mate material.

Sad fact is I'd vote for a yellow dog before any democrat.

I believe your comments are spot on with this one exception:

While I respect most of his views, Ron Paul is anti-war. His views on ignoring IRAN are pitifully naive and will get Israel (an us eventually) blown off the map... which leads me to my other thought... I'm not sure but I question is views on Israel.... they seem borderline antisemitic.
