Brigid has restarted the meme about "what has it got in its pocketses?", with a cleverly-staged photo of the tactical (and not-so-tactical) stuff in her purse/pockets.
Mine, while not nearly so interesting, is here:

| This is my daily-walking-around stuff, excepting only the keyring o' stuff that I use at work - and that's not mine; merely in my keeping. |
I should have included my cell phone, but ... meh.

I'm a bit embarrassed about how much I carry. I have blue gloves rolled into a sealed baggie, insect repellent, headphones, two small pens, a small sharpie... I have an EDC problem.
I keep a hankie with me always. I never use it, but I become a gentleman hero around any crying woman when I offer a clean hankie to her.
I used to carry more, in the past. I've lightened the load to those things I use in my current job, and not much else. My range/SHTF bag (one & the same, really) has a LOT more stuff in it.
Of course in addition to the purse there's another big bad with "bodily fluid clean up kit". Always a conversation starter on a date.
My wife stands in amazement when I unload my trousers.
Rev. Paul,
So, what is that 1911? I see you carry it locked and loaded. Just the way the Col. taught.
Happy Labor Day,
PolyKahr
Hm...first time commentor....you have all of that in "A" pocket or is it dispersed about your person?!?!!?
Commenting from Wisconsin and wondering how/about our new concealed carry law commin' in November.
I'm athinkin' about wearing an empty holster just to get used to the idea and feel of concealed carry.
Steve
Welcome, Steve.
"Dispersed about my person" is correct.
Regarding a concealed-carry holster, experiment! What is almost negligible when empty may come to feel like a cinder block when filled with your firearm. But go with whatever works for you, and to heck with what the "experts" say.
