Cold Fire in the Sky

Here are pictures of the northern lights, described as the "best we've seen in years". The peak of the show was apparently in the 3 to 4 a.m. hour - too late/too early for this correspondent.

I don't have a bucket list, but those pictures . . . .well, seems to me that standing beneath that cosmic phenomena could almost be a religious experience.
