About having nothing to write about, a suggestion:
If you're blank - wait (up to), say, four or five days. If you're still blank - post a message that "We're alive and kicking - the weather is Alaskan - I'm out of a topic - see you later...".
Why ? Because that kind of message tells us the essential - that you're alive (and kicking) - and by taking off the pressure, you might even go non-blank...
