The small Cessna Skyhawk went down just before three o'clock at Highway 431 and Highway 257. The pilot of the plane said he was trying to land when he began to have engine trouble. He attempted an emergency landing in a nearby field, but one of the wheels got caught causing the plane to flip.
The pilot was not injured in the crash and no one on the ground was hurt.
I don't know what hurt worse: his wallet, or his pride. I'm glad he's okay, though.
h/t GFA for suggesting this line of thought...

Any landing you can walk away from is acceptable!
dammit, drjim beat me to it...LOL
Darn it! Here I go looking for a plane, and this guy crashes one, making the remaining ones that much more expensive!
Ouch!
... that's gonna be an expensive rebuild for somebody. Glad he managed to walk away from it though.
The plane doesn't look that bad though. He is one lucky guy to walk away from that crash uninjured.
