Internet, cell phone & land-line service went down around 1 pm for half of the tenants in my office building. My first thought, as manager, was "I should send a building-wide e-mail alert to let them know what's happened."
The irony ... it burns.

You need a megaphone like Rudy Vallee so you can play town crier during internet/phone blackouts. A traffic cone would work in a pinch. ;-)
