Winter Comes Creeping Back

Last Friday, temps here shot up into the low 40s and stayed there all weekend. The heavy snow cover has been settling during these days, while in streets and parking lots, the two-to-three-inch packed snow & ice layer is getting squishy, with bare spots appearing here and there.

Today the temperature has moderated to the low 30s, and what started as a fine mist of rain became light snow. The flakes have become thicker, and it seems we'll get another couple inches of our white winter companion.

Another layer begins

I want to say "thank you" to all who have inquired about my health; my energy is slowly returning to something approaching normal, and the doctor was pleased with my progress when I saw her this morning.

I'm going to just sit here & watch it snow for awhile. Thanks for stopping by, friends.
