Younger Daughter Finishes High School

Younger daughter Samantha, who's been working as a pastry cook (assistant to the pastry chef - must get the hierarchy correct, y'know) at a big hotel has now completed all her high school studies, and has scheduled her private graduation ceremony for mid-May.

This Thursday she will make a presentation to the school board, briefly describing her journey from wannabe to where she is now paid to create desserts. As part of the presentation, she'll be giving cupcakes which she has created at home to each board member.

Description follows after the picture:
Go on & click - you know you want to.

The cupcakes: banana with a light hint of orange, cinnamon and nutmeg.

The filling: salted caramel.

The frosting: buttercream lightly flavored with salted caramel & sprinkled with edible gold glitter.

Eat your hearts out. Us?  We'll be eating cupcakes. :)

This was a cruel, cruel post, sir!

Stop taunting the rest of us with such delicious looking photos and descriptions of your daughter's creations!

(My stomach's growling tells me it agrees with my sentiments 100%.)
