I let the forecast of here comes the snow event we've been waiting for just geek me right out. This winter, we've gone from "Gee, it sure is snowing a lot" through "Wow, we've had a lot more snow than normal," on through, "This shoveling the driveway every single day is getting really old" to "As long as we're this close to the record, let's go ahead and break it."
So we're 3.3" from a new record ... which is where we were when I wrote the previous post. That overnight snow stayed about 30 miles south of here grumble grumble. It's only mid-March, and we have another four to six weeks of snowy weather ahead. Breaking the record is almost assured.
But I must stop letting myself get all excited about it until it happens. Darn it.

Ooooo hoping that you guys break your old record. Then you can have some sort of special celebration!
