I was one of several people who contacted Sen. Lisa Murkowski's office regarding the ATF agent (or agents) asking for 4473 forms from at least one local gun store.
Today I received a call from one of the Senator's staff, who told me that another staffer had met with ATF officials earlier in the day. She said those officials agreed to review the actions of the local agents to determine why they were asking for the sales forms.
I don't know if I'll hear any more about it, but it's nice to know that at least one elected official is listening.

Thanks for the update. Honestly I'm surprised she even looked into it for you.
Stay on them.
What Matt said. Who knew it would be HER office?
Of course, no results, yet.
I got a call also after I wrote in..and I too was very happy but what worries me, is they are investigating themselves..hmmm
Matt & GFA: I was VERY surprised when the Senator's office called. They always answer e-mails - eventually - but I never got a phone call before.
AKgrrrl: I'm sure that this internal review will receive their highest attention. I mean, it doesn't rank up there with giving AKs to drug cartels, but ...
Yeah, right.
LOL..
I was surpised to, I usually get an email also. She said that they recieved a huge amount of call in's and emails about it...maybe that has something to do with it.
They'll swat it under the table and continue with the lawbreaking.
Stephen - agreed.
Follow up would be appreciated... Thanks for the update!
