We're Just Waiting to Hear By How Much

We've smashed the old record for total seasonal snowfall; it's been snowing steadily most of the day.

In the last 90 minutes, a heavy band of snow has moved in, along with a drop in temperature. The white stuff began piling up immediately, and we've got at least three inches of fresh snow in our front yard.

The old record didn't get broken ... it got smashed. Every additional flake is a new record now. The old record, set the year I was born, is now the second snowiest winter.

And now? We're all perfectly willing to watch it melt.

Wow, I am not sure...should I congratulate or commiserate?

I'll say it....congratulations. A record is a record...now for a nice hot cup of coffee and some cake. It's awful down here too...71 today and windy. Stay warm, my friend.

Think of the positive side; at least you don't have to deal with dandelions for a while.

Thanks, everyone.

Mrs. S: after five months of heavy snow, we're ready for ANYTHING that produces a color other than black or white.
