My company cellphone died an unremarked & uncooperative death, over the weekend. I didn't even notice until Monday morning.
It displayed an "app error" message, with a single clickable icon: "reset". Clicking on the reset button caused the phone to reboot back to the "app error - reset" screen.
After looking up the error code on line, and doing my level best to follow all the instructions, the Brickberry remained a brick.
The carrier overnighted a new phone (bigger, nicer screen - yay!) to my office, and - wonder of wonders! - the SIM card from the old card is a direct insert into the new phone, so all my contacts are available again. My Hawaii screen shots, however, are gone with the old brick. So I'm syncing/recharging/updating/pairing/et cetera ... I'm sure most, if not all, of you are familiar.
Should I tell my wife we need to go back to Hawaii so I can take more pics? :) What the heck - we're going!
