It rained all night, with dropping temps. This morning it's 34 degrees, and we awoke to this:

| The first of many to come |
Update: while out & about, shopping for this and that, we saw several trucks from the higher elevations in town with approx. six inches of snow on top. The appearance of the mountains is what we normally see in December, and hardly ever at this time of year.
And - as predicted here, the parking lots at area tire shops were all full. No real surprise, there.

The moose picture on your face page is beautiful. Enjoy your first snow. Hopefully, your prepared for the snow with your tires?
Thanks, Sandy, but I must admit that this moose pic is one of the few I've featured that I didn't take, myself. Found it on Facebook & just liked it.
Re: the tires, there's nothing sticking to the streets in the main part of town; it's been a bit too warm. But that's changing rapidly, and we'll need to get our winter tires mounted in the next 7 to 10 days. I don't think winter's going to wait much longer.
Ick. Keep it.
What is this 'snow' substance of which you speak?
Guffaw in AZ
PS - sorry
PH, I'm guessing that's pretty likely. :)
Guffaw, it's that white stuff you see painted on distant mountaintops, in the movies. Heh.
