That's pretty much what the Progressives want, by the way.
In the Book of Daniel, chapter 7, verse 25 reads,
And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time. (my emphasis added)
If you're a praying Christian, with your faith in the Lord God, I'm willing to guess you've had times where you feel completely overcome ... practically inundated by all the evil that's going on in the world. It may not be all the time, but there are days when you don't even know where to start.
Am I right?
I hear that from those with whom I speak, and experience it in my own life from time to time ... and so it is with this blog.
Some days, I don't even know where to start ... like today. But hang in there, folks; I've read all the way to the end of The Book (that's the Bible, for any politicians who might be out there) and God wins. :)
Oh, and the title of this post? That's how my Ozarks grandfather expressed "feast or famine". He was a smart feller.

Sometimes we just need to throttle back on the amount of info we take in.
When you get to the point that you are about ready to yell at the TV screen for the stupid stuff they try to make us swallow, then the best things is to just change the channel, or turn it off completely.
I can't fix stupid. There's no need in even trying.
All I can do is vote in November for the non-Muslim, non-Communist, non-union, God fearing candidate and pray and prepare as best I can.
Yeah boy. You wonder how the $#&* we got to this point and want to crawl into a hole and pull the entrance in after.
Matt, that's part of the problem: information overload. I suspect the enemy is counting on it. Best thing we can do is unplug for a time, just as you suggest. Stay in prayer, though.
PH, I hear you. My problem is that I know how we got here; I just hadn't realized the enormity of the BIG picture until the last couple of years. Got room in that hole for some company? We could all use the rest. :)
I so agree with Matt. I also plan on offering rides to the elderly folks in my area to make sure they vote this year!!!

I predict that you will find your voice again. But I have struggled with the same feeling-that there is just too much going on at once, that I can't prioritize and therefore write nothing sometimes.
