You'll recall that Cabela's will be opening a store here in 2014. Today, it's announced that Bass Pro Shops will be opening a 100,000 sq.ft. store next spring.
We're going from few choices, to many. This is going to be fun.

You lucky booger you...we have just one, Gander Mountain. This just sucks.
Sandy ... yes, indeed. When we got here 10 years ago, there was Wal-Mart & Sam's Club. Of course there were local gun stores, but no BIG ones.

Stephen, I understand. Bass Pro & Cabela's both said they're opening here because of all the on-line business from Alaska.
I'm going to buy stock in both these companies. If they are opening near you, their profits are bound to go up, UP, UP!

joated, I guarantee the Anchorage stores will be their #1 retailer for at least the first three months of operation. (That has nothing to do with me, though.)
