This time of year, as the days grow ever shorter, we're happy for any sunlight we receive. While the sun is shining for the next few days, I expect that many of us will be a bit happier and ... well, cheerier than usual.
SAD* lights up here sell like Odd Thomas's pancakes**, and many are affected. While I don't require the lights, it's still nicer to have sunlight, than not.
In the meantime, it's a slow day here in
But enough of politics and all things political; not today. Today the sun shining, and God's on His throne.
Cheers!

** No, I don't know Dean Koontz, nor have I received anything from him for this mention. I just like the books, 'kay?

Chuckle,I too have read an Odd Thomas or two...
Stephen, I liked them except for Odd Hours, which I thought wasn't up to the standard set by the previous books. Maybe it's just me, though.
Ah yes, and there is a new Odd Thomas one out... :-)
Old NFO, "Odd Apocalypse" sounds like it would fit right in with the zombie craze. I'm waiting for the paperback, which Amazon isn't offering yet.
**Recently discovered that 0o9Dean Koontz is a devout Catholic. Which explains why his books appealed to me.
That picture is so very beautiful. I may make that my screen saver this week for when I need a little quietness as I start the work day.
PH, somehow that doesn't surprise me; the Odd Thomas character keeps ducking into churches & talking to priests. :^)
Brigid, thank you. I sent the full size pic by e-mail, just now.
