Update: the snow has petered out after only three inches, darn it. But at least we got some fresh white fluff. :^)

Christmas Snow
I pray you all are having a wonderful, love-filled Christmas day, wherever you are.
We're getting something we've been waiting for: 7" to 14" of snow over the next 18 hours. There is also an avalanche warning for the steeper mountainsides just a couple miles down the road from us, but we're in no danger here.

Brrr.....stay warm, be safe and enjoy your Christmas with family and friends.
We're expecting 4 to 6 inches of snow and ice.
And I hope you had a merry one! Ours was unexpectedly white, as well.
Sandy, I'm guessing we'll enjoy our snow more than y'all will.
ProudHillbilly, it's a GOOD Christmas. Our snow is expected; it's the lack, this year, that we've been fussing about. This foot is overdue. I hope you get only snow, and no ice.
Merry Christmas RP!
Thanks, Groundhog. You, too!
Our snow has fallen and I'm hopeful there is a ton in the hills. If not it's just annoying to get 3 inches of fluff.
Merry Christmas Rev. Paul.
The snow will fall in Ohio tomorrow.
Max, we're in the same boat: we're over a foot below normal here in town, and it seems to have stopped at about 3".
Thank you, Cathy. Stay safe & warm.
