Sunday's Word of the Day
For
our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers,
against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and
against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore
put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you
may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to
stand. (Ephesians 6:12-13 NIV)
Or, if you prefer the King James translation:
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities,
against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world,
against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you
the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil
day, and having done all, to stand. (Ephesians 6:12-13 KJV)

Goodness y'all are up early!
.. against principalities indeed. :(
I was up before 5:00, but this post was programmed last night. :)
Always sounds more official in KJV-ese. ;-)
Even Jesus can sound pretty harsh in KJV, when he's scornin' on the Pharisees and hypocrites.
Agreed on both points, Bob.
