That 727 I wrote about is scheduled to land at Merrill Field next Tuesday. Merrill is a city-owned light-aircraft field, and FedEx has donated the 727 to UAA's aircraft technology department.

Yesterday was Day 5 of the Iron Dog snowmachine race. It was also the restart for the final leg of the journey. Coverage can be found here.

Wow Rev. I too had a hard time sleeping last night. It does make for a long day.
Heck, I didn't fall asleep until 0300...it's already nap time for me.
I fall with the majority - except back to sleep!

gfa, the "experts" say global warming causes everything, so who knows?
So this Rondy thing has a few interesting activities. The Snowshoe softball could be entertaining although snowshoe volley ball would prolly be a bit more entertaining.
The outhouse races sounds as if it may have potential.
You need a bikini snowball fight as well I think.
Preppy, I'm sure it's just a matter of time. They already have a fur bikini contest.
