Quote of the Day

The government derives its powers from the consent of the governed. Do you know anyone who consented to [gun control]? If you do, they consented for themselves. The rest of us will keep our lives, liberty and property and defy any government efforts to take them.

~ Andrew P. Napolitano, a former judge of the Superior Court of New Jersey

I was listening to a conference call my Representative does every couple of months last night.

During the thing there were two people who had submitted to ask direct questions that were 100% Obama and gun control supporters. This in a district that the Democrat who ran last election got less than 20% of the vote I think and the election before that the Republican in office now ran unopposed.

The Liberals have a knack for making themselves appear to be a far larger group than they are as a whole and rely on single issue voters to make up the difference.

In this way they can claim that the majority did vote for this...

Preppy, you're absolutely right. Only 20% of American voters identify themselves as "liberal", yet liberal politicians claim (and appear to have) a majority.

We do, gfa. He's a stirring voice for clarity & the rule of law in a land of opportunists and would-be tyrants.
