8" to 14" of Spring

This morning arrived with horizontal snow, and a Winter Weather Advisory calling for a foot or more of the white stuff. Older daughter took one look outside and cancelled her plans for a range trip. The range is 40 miles north in Chugiak, where the wind and snow can be more vicious than here.

Me? I believe I'll have another cup of coffee ... and the rest of the day?  Well, that comes later.  :)

All y'all have a good day; thanks for stopping by.

This is the storm that is heading our way :-(

Hopefully, it will be just rain for us, not snooooowwwwww.

Enjoy a couple of cups of coffee and keep warm :-)

Sandy, I don't know how much of this storm would survive the 4,000-mile journey to your side of the continent, but it's unlikely it would still be in a frozen state by then. :)

Yep, strange spring... No question! Flew over your area today and there was a LOT of white out there...

It's still coming down, too.
