That was my favorite program. I still have the TV Guide magazine with the show on the cover. Alaska was always my dream - to drive there through Canada, go salmon fishing and stand on a glacier and see the northern lights. Never made it. But I still think about it. (sigh)....

Chickenmom, understood. I've done all those things (except stand on a glacier) ... and that's on my list.
He didn't mention anything about Russian satellites crushing unlucky bush pilot's boyfriends.

I never watched that show, but I have spent a bit of time there, and as far as I can see, they are ALL on the money!!!
Cool. Never seen the show, but was addicted to the Canadian clone, "North of 60" for a while.

The best thing about the 'quirky' show was Janine Turner.
