My husband said thank you for sharing this post with us. He worked at that postal site just off the side there next to where those water planes came in.

drjim, it's a Grumman Goose; the Seabee has a center-mounted pusher prop.

Agreed, Kelly. Those old planes give me goosebumps, no matter how many times I see 'em.
