Rainy Days & Mondays

It was 48 degrees and raining when we awoke. If we didn't need the rain, I'd go on about it ... never mind. :)

The plane crash in Soldotna which killed all ten aboard is just awful. This photo from the Daily News tells the story:

Hundreds of residents, animals evacuated as wildfires threaten Two Rivers (northeast of Fairbanks).

This one was started by an Army artillery exercise. Most of the animals are Iditarod sled dogs: Two Rivers, an unincorporated community, is "considered by some to the unofficial mushing capitol", per the article. It's home to a number of mushers including Aliy Zirkle.

Another reminder to live life to it's fullest whenever you can. Minus roller coaster fun, man I can't stand those. I get so nervous.

I agree, Max. We should each think of each moment as the only one we have.

Re: the roller coasters, I don't know whether to laugh or sympathize. But I understand.

Too much tragedy of late!
Then your post above!

Prayers for all and their families.
