Hold On, It's Coming

The weather has turned noticeably cooler, and is due to get colder still over the next few days. It's snowing here and there around the state, and that line - 300 miles north yesterday - is now only 150 miles north. Tonight's low is supposed to dip into the 20s... won't be long, now, before winter's upon us.

Older Daughter and I will be buying and installing snow tires on Saturday, as both our 4WD vehicles are currently without them. Not a good thing, here.

I'd reply, "We take it so you won't have to" ... except not so much.

We just tend to be among the first.

Rev. Paul,

Brrrr.........
To cold for me right now, I can wait a couple of months for this temperature.

Do you have a full tire for spare or a donut? I try to always make sure to have a full for a spare instead of those donut tires.

Sandy, almost all newer cars & small SUVs use the "temporary" spare, these days. It's supposed to save space & weight.

I don't like 'em, but you work with what you've got. Dang it.
