Apologies for the lack of any serious blogging over the last few days; demands at work have increased dramatically this week (nothing bad; just busy).

Lennon spent much of his adult life being a libertine limousine liberal.
The (unsubstantiated) story is he was so disenchanted with the Jimmy Carter administration, he became a Republican (!)
So, perhaps he grew up, as well?

Anything's possible. It's been my experience that most liberals "convert" quickly when confronted with the reality of their pipe dreams. It's never as sweet & clean as it was in their drug-fevered imaginations ... heh.
