Simple, Essential Truths

  • Truth exists, independent of your personal opinion.
  • Truth never dies.
  • Socialism is the legitimization of envy.
  • The more government does for you, the more it can do to you.
  • American conservatism is based on the four F’s: Faith, Family, Flag and Freedom.
  • Liberals are especially liberal with your money and your liberty.
  • The failure of one side to recognize that they are involved in a war does not mean that they aren’t.
  • To win back our country and our culture we must do three things: get educated, get involved, and be a positive and public example.
  • Women are, by nature, the civilizing factor in society.
  • No civilized society can exist without a consensus on acceptable behavior and without commonly-held and respected values.
  • You cannot rely on pigs feeding at the trough to voluntarily restrain themselves.

I've been married for 33+ years, so OF COURSE I have! :)

Women are the civilizing factor?

Really?

Look how they vote these days and then tell me another.

I don't think either gender has a corner on being the civilizing factor. Each gender has it's own part to play and when one or the other turns their backs on that part things get ugly.

And that, Preppy, is the most essential truth of all. Thanks.

I find the last one insulting to pigs. They shouldn't have to suffer being compared to liberal Democrats.

If there were any pigs here, PH, I'd apologize. :)

Chisel these powerful truths in stone and stand them in both houses of congress to read aloud at the start of each session.

Rev. Paul said...

They're already chiseled in posterity, along with the Constitution, and Congress ignores those, too. :(

Congress ignores everything that doesn't fit it's agenda, regardless of the fact that the people who voted them in consider it important.

Rev. Paul said...

Absolutely, drjim. We've just heard from the horse's mouth that they "don't work for those people."
