I've never had Moose unfortunately.
We have some 1200 to 1300 living inside the city limits, this time of year. The snow on the mountainsides above town is too deep for them to forage, so they eat our bushes & saplings.
Maybe you don't want moose, after all. :)
I see the calf in the road, and my first thought is, Where's mama!
Nope, don't miss winter yet. Y'all enjoy. I went to the zoo today in 48 degree weather, and enjoyed the elephants and giraffe. I think you would have been in shorts and a Hawaiian shirt...

Wing, if if helps ... I did wear a Hawaiian shirt today. I think the temp got up to 4°. :)
And yes, Wing & NFO, Mamma is a much greater threat when you can't see her right away.
