Scene From the Road
Sent from Older Daughter's cell phone:
Keeps things interesting during these long winter months. :)
We can keep it, if desired. But since it usually destroys the car which hit it, there's a bit of delay in finding something to haul the 1200 lb beast with.

At least he's only going one way (sad that it's against traffic)... :-)
I wondered how long that would take.
So if ya hit a moose do you get to keep the carcass up there? The authorities let us keep the deer we hit here.
Did the moose ask her if she had some Grey Poupon?
Rev. Paul,
I guess you just never know what to expect when driving in Alaska.
Great picture :-)
I guess I wouldn't get out and shoo it away - a bit big.

It does look like that, doesn't it? :)
Sometimes, we're disappointed when we don't see them. Not uncommon, especially in more heavily-wooded areas.
Agreed, PH. Not a good idea at all. :)
I'm thinking it's a good thing we don't have the big beasts down here in the lower 48 or it would wreak havoc. LOL. Deer cause enough trouble.
Rec'd from Armed Laughing:
Is Bullwinkle thumbing a ride?

You're probably right. We have approx. 1200 of them inside the city limits, this time of year. With heavier traffic, there'd be a LOT more accidents.
