URGENT CALL TO REPENTANCE: All the ends of the world shall remember and turn to the Lord. And all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before Thee. For the Kingdom is the Lord’s and He rules among the nations. (Psalm 22:27-28)

Snow Sculptures
A regular part of the Anchorage Fur Rondy is the annual snow sculptural competition.
Each team starts with an 8' cube of compacted snow. The results are frequently surprising:
Neat. I love snow and sand sculptures. It takes real talent to make them or any sculpture that requires a take away method. I used to sculpt from the other direction adding on to a skeleton and that is easy compared to chipping stuff out of a block.

You know one sculptor said it's easy: you just carve away everything that doesn't look like your statue.
It's not that easy, but funny.
Just amazes me what creative people can do with the things at hand. Snow and ice. Voila. A work of art.
Cathy, the team that carved the dragon includes my plumber; they've won twice in a row, and hope to make it a three-peat next year. :)
