Batching It

My wife flew out for a training seminar in San Francisco last night. I can't remember the last time I was home completely alone.

Hmm.

No, nothing exciting planned. I have work, of course, and she'll be back in the wee hours on Sunday. But there is a book I've been planning to read.

Yeah, I know; I'm just a party animal. :)

Reading books when one is alone at home....priceless. Hope it's a good one!

Matt, it seems unlikely. But ya never know...

threecollie, I aim to be reminded, starting this afternoon. :)

Call Unalaska and report the wife missing...

Geez, Preppy, don'tcha think those folks have enough to do? I admit that such a call would fit right in, though ...

Can't help growing older, PH, but I intend to postpone "getting old" indefinitely. :)

Agreed, Sandy, and I'm looking forward to it!

Guffaw, there's no one here with whom I'd plan a party ... unless you're visiting. Hmm?

I never get enough done when not alone at the house, so I enjoy the times when I fly solo.
I already have about 25 things on the list for this weekend, it never ends. The results are usually pretty amazing when you sit down to a nice meal once it's all over.

Understood, Max. This will be the first weekend in about two month without a chore list. I'm really, really looking forward to a quiet Saturday.

I'm lucky to make it to the store and back!
Thanks for the invite, though...
