Hooray, One Step Closer

Our new living room furniture was delivered today. After work, my wife & I arranged it more-or-less where we think it should go. (You folks know how that goes, I'm sure.)

But for now, no more lawn chairs ... and no more numb bums!

Congratulations...I do understand how you feel. As I told my wife last year when we purchased new recliners, I never knew my old chair was so uncomfortable.

New window treatments and a rug to go with the furniture? :0)

Stephen, that's exactly right. My new "spot" is just right. Again. :)

Chickenmom, new window dressing? You bet. Since we just had the entire place recarpeted, no rug's needed.

Rev. Paul,

It's like buying a new house, everything is new and pretty. No cleaning required for a while.

Sounds about right, Sandy. We're looking forward to much less dust, now that the old carpet - and its crumbling pad - is gone.

Bah who you trying to kid. The wife will decide where it goes and you will move it....

+1 P.P., but your wife will do it in a way that will make it your idea.

Woo Hoo!!! :-)

But of course, Preppy; that's the way it works, no? :)

WSF, we're a bit more balanced than that. I express my opinion, and then do it her way anyway.

Thanks, NFO.

Yay for new furniture! Sounds fantastic. :D

We have one more table to move down in the basement, then our furniture moving exploits will be over for a bit. LOL. It's nice when everything is done - finally done!

Only one more piece? Yay for you two!
I'm looking forward to hanging the last piece of artwork, sometime this weekend, and finally being done - for now. :)

Now, you know you're going to pine for those rustic days of 'numb bums'.

I don't think so, Cathy, but we're awfully glad we had the lawn chairs to tide us over until the new stuff got here. :)
