Oh well.
Older Daughter and I are going to visit the Wet Bunny Range this afternoon; haven't been there in a couple of years. I need to spend some time with the .22 before the Appleseed event at the end of the month, and this seems like a good time to do that.
We're having a family dinner this evening; I think that'll be the first time since the girls moved out that we've all broken bread together. Or in this case, spaghetti.
But then it started raining around 0700, and has been doing so ever since - until 0900, as the sun has just popped out.
So I'll end with this:
The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.
~ Psalm 28:7

Rev. Paul,
Get your practice in so you can do well at the Appleseed event.
Family dinners are very important even after kids grow up, and move out.
Sandy - yes, ma'am. :)
And don't forget position and dry fire...
NFO - I was practicing dry fire this morning. Besides, Daughter won't let me forget. :)
Nice. How was dinner? And why do they called it the Wet Bunny? I hafta know...
Great that the family was there! Appleseed is all about the positions and the sling. Suggest you have a mat for shooting prone.
Preppy - the 'sketti was fantastic. It's the Rabbit Creek Rifle Range ... I started thinking, "What would happen if the rabbit fell in the creek?" and voila!, "Wet Bunny" was born. :)
Understood, Kelly. Older Daughter is an Appleseed instructor; I have a mat.
Nice that your daughter is an INSTRUCTOR!
You must be very proud.

Guffaw - it's always gratifying when one of the girls takes on an interest/activity & escalates it to the next level. :)
